Behind-The-Scenes Work for Front-and-Center Results
Our team actively repairs and maintains all projects, vehicles and equipment to ensure we continue to run smoothly for years to come.

To say we’re proud of how much our small team on the ground in Zambia gets done would be an understatement. Almost everything used by AF-AM is repaired, maintained, and logistically supported in-house to cut down on costs and live out our values of self-sufficiency.

We currently make use of two ministry vehicles. The incredible need for transportation is evident in that these two vehicles are used as a school bus, food delivery service, ambulance, and in unfortunate cases a hearse. Without coordinated logistics running in the background, our vehicles would break down and our ability to provide these crucial cal services for the community would falter.

Some of our farm equipment includes a hammer mill, generator, and drip irrigation equipment. Along with the Moono farm’s tractor, for which annual maintenance is needed along with the replacement of broken parts, these are all facets of our base of operations that make up the logistical framework of AF-AM. Additional elements are our wells. Located throughout rural communities, they are in need of the routine replacement of pumps and annual checks of water levels to make sure they are always available to the people who rely on them.
